Straight Street USA designs clothing for people who have something to say, and aren’t afraid to say it. Many of our customers will already know that Standing Up for what you believe almost always means Standing Out. Now more than ever there’s a real opportunity for this generation to step it up and do the same. We’re convinced The Truth always finds a way to be heard, and so we’re committed to helping make that happen any which way we can. Straight Street USA seeks to remind our neighbors that America has never just been a place to live. Those lucky enough to call America their home are not merely residents, we are AMERICANS.
What about our name?
A verse from the bible describes a street in ancient Damascus where a blinded Apostle was once sent to regain his lost sight. Restored, he set out to turn the world upside down with the good news about the one who healed him. Today regardless of our religious affiliations we are surrounded by the legacy of those efforts. Our American law, and institutions, even our ideas about what fair play looks like, all bear the unmistakable marks of the message sent long ago to the gentiles that began its journey on Straight Street in Damascus. Straight Street USA believes that every American should know where our nation’s liberty, freedoms, and success really comes from. Only when America’s eyes are open, will our national inheritance be safeguarded and secure, ready to be passed on to the next generation.
